• We will demonstrate that sinusoids are eigenfunctions of linear time-invariant systems.
• The frequency response of a linear time-invariant system is introduced.
• It is shown, how the output of a linear-time invariant system is easily determined from the frequency response and the the Fourier representation of the input signal.
