 Previous: Analog and Digital
- An analog signal is a signal with an amplitude that varies
  continuous for all time.
- In other words, a given time instant an analog signal can take on any
  value.
- Analog signal arise when a physical waveform is converted into an
  electrical signal.
- Example: The pressure wave from a sound is converted into an
  electrical signal by a microphone.
- A device that converts a physical waveform into an electrical signal is
  often called a transducer.
